Website Review: Avalon Kitchen Design

Avalon Kitchen Design: located at http://www.avalonkitchendesign.com.

A good entry level site that gives potential clients just enough information to begin the initial lead generation process. The site has a photo gallery that is full of images but has very little organization. Very few content updates or company news seems to be available for visitors but overall the site is decent.

We would recommend more personal touches such as a blog, possible videos or even images of the ownership, management and or construction team so that we could know what the company stands for beyond selling cabinets. The company does maintain a seperate site at www.avaloncabinets.com that gives some information, but it is a part of their custom cabinetry section. Overall the site shows well, but leaves much to be considered.

Orange County Cabinets @ 714.612.1599

We asked Fred Jarrah, owner and lead designer of Signature Design Center (714.612.1599) if he thought that the current housing market would have an effect on the demand for home remodeling request.

Fred simply stated, "... to some extent, however in most cases home repairs are a recession proof business. When the roof leaks it has to be fixed. When the toilet needs to be replaced, it gets replaced. Besides owners of distinguished tastes make home improvements based on their lifestyle needs, not according to housing market trends."

We here at orangecountycabinets.net tend to agree with Fred. In fact, a recent article in the Wall Street Journal tends to confirm this notion.

Every eight seconds, another baby boomer turns 60. And as the trendsetters of the generation head for retirement, they're yearning for their dream homes.

But their idea of housing utopia doesn't necessarily hinge on spending quality time with the grandkids, according to a study commissioned by publisher Hanley Wood and released this week at the company's American Housing Conference in Chicago. read more.
